Visual Voices – “Talking to the Fingers in the Language of Eyes …”

Visual Voices, a professional lecture series sponsored by the School of Art, invites eight nationally recognized visiting artists and designers to speak about their work and the world of art and design. In addition to providing a look inside the studios of these top professionals, the series offers students the opportunity to interact with them during daytime seminars and studio visits.

School of Art welcomes Teresa Jaynes to the 2017-18 lecture series. Jaynes has created installations and artist books based on extensive research in special collections and libraries for more than 25 years. She received her MFA from Tyler School of Art, Temple University and her BFA from University of Texas at Austin. From 2000-2011, she served as executive director of Philagrafika where she organized the international contemporary print festival Philagrafika 2010: The Graphic Unconscious.
