Annie Chen

Annie Chen is the Manager of SoA Print, the digital print lab located on the first floor of the Art and Design Building. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art from George Mason University, her extensive knowledge of art printing and digital file handling as well as her years of experience working with artists at the print shop, Annie strives to make SoA Print an education-focused environment to help both students and local community artists find the right product for their needs.

Annie has been working at SoA Print since 2013 and has experience using Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Adobe Acrobat. She also handles the finances and inventory at SoA Print, working closely with the CVPA finance team, and has experience in Microsoft Excel, Quickbooks, Mason Marketplace, and the Point of Sale payment system. For her own practice as a Digital Illustrator, Annie has worked in Adobe Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint, as well as has a workable understanding of Adobe After Effects for compositing.

Annie is practically always at the shop so if you are lost or looking for advice feel free to stop by and ask for help! Annie likes sleeping, Pokémon, McDonald’s apple pie, and rats.
