Adam Bradley is a Washington DC-based sculptor who deals with themes of fear, anxiety, and guilt. He has a strong background in figure drawing and works primarily with the figure as a subject. He constructs in a loose, gestural fashion that gives his figures nervous desperation. After receiving his Masters’s Degree from Maryland Institute School of Art, The Rinehart School of Sculpture, he returned to DC to continue making and showing his artwork.

In the classroom, he using a variety of media as tools for learning the principles and elements of design. He uses media including drawing, painting, paper craft, printmaking, wire, wood, ceramics, steel, and digital media like photoshop, illustrator, and simple CAD programs. His classes will utilize the GMU Maker Space, the MIX for 3d printing, laser cutting, and fiber arts.
