Drawing

Students with a concentration in drawing undergo a four-semester sequence, which trains them not only in the materials and techniques of observational drawing, but also to see drawing as the most immediate form of visual thinking. Students are encouraged to explore drawing as a vital language and investigate a variety of media, forms, and traditions, including contemporary drawing theories and practices.  Drawing undergraduates undergo a four-semester sequence, which trains them not only in the materials and techniques of observational drawing, but also to see drawing as the most immediate form of visual thinking.
